Between writing, podcasts, making marketing material, videos, seeing friends, daily life (cooking/cleaning/laundry), and constantly being on social media, to keep that stupid algorithm thing going, I've lost my time to workout - No Excuse, I know. I need to really get back into it...like yesterday. But, when I workout, I tend to go ALL IN, as in like a 2-3 hour workout. Yeah, no 20 min walk on the treadmill for me. It's all or nothing baby! An hour on my bike (18 miles), then an hour weightlifting and another 20 minutes doing floor exercises. And I'm 51 years old... take that Old Age!

My writing is taking a serious hit lately, too. I have two books that I need to finish by May or June, so that they can release by the end of July. The one Book, which is the third installment in my Eva St. Claire Mystery Series really should be at the top of my list, however, this new book I started writing last month, Of All the Fates, seems to be the only one my heart is truly into. Think one true love, the red string of fate, your other half, the one who brings you to life, your soulmate... then add in a twelve year age gap, the need to do the right thing and many other obstacles and it's truly gut wrenching. We will have to see if these two beautiful souls find a way to not break that string that has been attached to them for so long, they didn't even realize what was happening.
This red string is said to be able to stretch, bend, curl and get knotted, but it will NEVER break.

Okay, as usual I went off on a tangent when talking about my WIP Of All the Fates. It seems to do that to me. But I digress... let's move on for now.
Oh, and did I mention that I'll be moving into a new house in less than a month, too? Yeah, when it rains it pours. So that entails packing and purging. Grant it, that is a great excuse to get rid of your crap, but alas, there needs to be about another six hours added onto the day.
Now, my goal is to find some sort of balance. Is this something that is even achievable? I hope so, otherwise I am going to have to resort to drastic measures and make a flipping schedule. Nobody wants that... Especially me.
This comes to me next issue - Diet. It's one of those nasty four letter words that shall not be mentioned, but I did, I mentioned it and now it's out there, for everyone to see. Dieting has always been the bane of my existence. I hate them with a passion that should be illegal. I've tried about every diet out there; from Nutrisystem, to low carb, slimfast and everything in between. Low carb eating has always seemed to work for the most part, but it gets a little boring after a while. I mean, there's only so much you can do with cauliflower and zucchini, am I right?

So, if you are one of those people who holds the secret to balancing life and all that comes with it, please enlighten me with all of your wisdom.
Have a great week everyone!
